Comments from Norma Rudinsky: Christening dates in Wales are from the Bishop's Transcripts for Llanedi parish church (Film no. 105162). Sarah, was christened in 1807 in Llanedi by her grandfather, the Rev. Edmund Leigh. The records of the Mormon community in Llanelli (film number 104169) listed Walter Walters, wife Sarah, and children Mary, Ann, Sarah, William, Hannah, and Daniel as members in 1848-1850.

Comments about Sarah's middle name: The Welsh records that have been located for Sarah's family do not give her middle name.  However, family records after Sarah settled in Wellsville, Utah, LDS records in the Wellsville Ward, cemetery records, and  local newspapers do give her middle name. Apparently Sarah adopted the middle name at a later time in her life. Contact Lynne Nielsen for details.
